Rituaal is a three piece Black/Death/Doom outfit featuring members of Encoffination and Loss. This 7” EP contains two absolutely devastating tracks – Side A: Datura At The Astral Sabbat & Side B: Ordo Walpurga. I would say their sound falls snugly into the death/doom genre but it has a subtle touch of black metal thrown into the mix. Fans of Encoffination will be in familiar territory. Both tracks are fantastic. Ordo Walpurga contains one of the most haunting melodies I have ever heard in a metal track. This track sends chills down my spine. Truly horrific. I really hope this band releases more material in the future, because this EP displays great potential. HIGHEST POSSIBLE RECOMMENDATON!
