Mold is a Death Metal band from Copenhagen and I believe shares members with Undergang. Cremated Alive is their second demo to date, although this release contains both tracks from their previous demo as well. Mold plays Old School Death Metal, in the vein of Incantation (yeah, if you had a dollar for every time you read that in an interview huh?). They play it exceptionally well though. Cremated Alive is raw and heavy as all hell, and the vocalist sounds more like Craig Pillard than any other imitator I have heard. Mold doesn’t exactly bring anything new to the table, but they rule and they get my highest recommendation. Buy or die.
