ZOM is a black/death metal trio from Ireland. This 2 track 7” EP is very similar in terms of song writing and sound as their first demo released last year on Invictus Productions, only there have been some improvements. Most noticeably the production. The vocals are higher in the mix this time which is a very good thing because I found it frustratingly hard to hear the vocals on the demo. Great black/death band in the “war metal” style. Thrashy riffs, heavily reverted vocals, and a militant vibe. Recommended for fans of Blasphemy, Teitanblood, Nocturnal Blood, Revenge, etc.
Released by Iron Bonehead Productions in an edition of 500 copies.
