Irkallian Oracle came seemingly about of nowhere. Not much is known about the band or its members other than they are from Sweden. Their first effort “Grave Ekstasis” was released in March of 2013. It immediately caught the attention of the underground metal community and got quite a bit of hype, and for good reason. For a first release, this is exceptional. Dark occult ritualistic atmosphere, ranging from slow and doomy, to intensely chaotic and everything in between. It contains 5 tracks and spans ~45 minutes in length. Fans of Portal, Grave Upheaval, and Deathspell Omega should worship this band. Highest possible recommendation.
Released by Bolvark on cassette in an edition of 200 hand numbered copies.
