Sede Vacante is an obscure black/death metal band from an unknown region, and with unknown members, although I suspect J. Stubbs (Encoffination, Father Befouled, Rituaal, etc) had his hands in on this. It reeks of Encoffation - The guitar tone and vocals sound so much alike. This demo contains two tracks of filthy raw blackened death metal. Recommended for fans of Encoffination, Profanatica, Archgoat, Beherit, and the like.
It was released by Archasm Releasing in an edition of 100 copies on labeled home dubbed tapes. The quality of the dubbing is atrocious and I would recommend NOT buying this and instead downloading these mp3's. Far superior. Supposedly this will get pressed on a 7" in the future.
